Richard Goyder, the MD of the Australian-listed conglomerate, said the company is performing well although he is concerned about US President-elect Donald Trump’s protectionist rhetoric. Chairman Michael Chaney shares Goyder’s concerns. Wesfarmers’ net profit fell 83 per cent and underlying earnings declined 3.6 per cent in 2015-16.
