Kodak announced the company’s initiative to create Kodak Pharmaceuticals. On Tuesday, President Trump announced that the company will receive a US$765 million loan to launch Kodak Pharmaceuticals. This new initiative will produce critical pharmaceutical components for US citizens.
The rational for this is to ensure that the US has a domestic supply of critical pharmaceutical components for US citizens to get through the COVID-19 pandemic.
Between 28 July to today (30 July 2020), Kodak’s share price has increased by over 1100% and is currently trading at US$33.20.
