20 Aug: Santos today reported its 1H09 results, failing to impact its share price.
Net profit of $101.7 million was 66% lower than last year, hurt by lower oil prices.
Underlying net profit fell 64% to $101.9 million from a restated $283.4 million last year, beating analysts’ expectations.
Revenue dropped 26% to $1.05 billion whilst STO declared a half dividend of 22 cents per share, flat on last year.
