20 Aug: Brambles today reported its FY09 results, impressing the market.
Net profit of US$452.6 million was 30% lower than last year, hurt by weakness in its CHEP automotive division and Recall's document destruction business.
Underlying profit from continuing operations fell 17% to US$534.3 million, from a restated US$640 million.
