Research and Trading Team
As Head of Research and Trading at Australian Stock Report Chris is responsible for ensuring that the Research and Trading Team remains focused on its goal of providing quality, unbiased and independent financial research to our clients.
Chris’ day-to-day tasks involve coordinating research and analysis activities within the firm and ensuring that research analysts abide by all internal and external rules and regulations when performing their duties.
Management and development of the Research and Trading team and the techniques used, development of new products and enhancement of existing products, and initiating innovation and overseeing projects to conclusion are also key elements of the role.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, as well as a deep understanding of economic/financial theory and of the investment process – all developed through accredited learning and time in the industry – allow Chris to identify effective and innovative solutions to a wide array of research problems.
Never one to rest his mind, Chris has a thirst for financial education which has seen him complete a host of degrees and diplomas related to both the fundamental and technical aspects of financial analysis.
That being said, his passion lies predominantly with technical analysis, trading and – ultimately – making money.
