Aussie shares ended the week on a flat note, despite mostly stronger gains on International markets overnight.
The sectors finished with 7 out of 12 in negative territory. Consumer staples was one of best performing segments, whilst the energy and materials were among the worst.
Pharmaxis was a stellar performer, up 5.6% after noting European regulators were getting closer to approving its cystic fibrosis drug, Bronchitol.
The ASX 200 slipped two points to close at 4276. Overall the market had a good week, up 1.5%.
